SEAToday.com, Brussel-Kementerian Luar Negeri Belgia, Selasa (28/5) menyatakan Belgia akan memberikan tambahan 5 juta euro atau sekitar 87,4 miliar rupiah kepada Palestina sebagai bentuk dukungan untuk sistem pendidikan di negara tersebut.
Dalam keterangan yang diunggah Kemenlu Belgia pada akun resmi X mereka (@BelgiumMFA), Menteri Kerjasama Pembangunan Belgia bertemu dengan Perdana Menteri Palestina Mohammad Mustafa untuk membahas rencana reformasi Otoritas Palestina yang baru saja dilantik.
Para pejabat Belgia, termasuk Menteri Luar Negeri Hadja Lahbib, menyatakan perlunya gerakan yang lebih berdampak untuk Palestina. Kemenlu Belgia memastikan Belgia tetap berupaya mewujudkan pengakuan Palestina atas hak dan kebebasan warga negaranya.
