Bea Cukai Soetta Batasi Muatan Barang Impor Penumpang Mulai 10 Maret

SEAToday.com, Jakarta-Kantor Bea Cukai Soekarno-Hatta (Soetta) resmi membatasi komoditas impor bawaan penumpang yang dibeli dari luar negeri, Minggu (10/3).
Pembatasan ini sejalan dengan Peraturan Menteri Perdagangan (Permendag) Nomor 36 tahun 2023 tentang Kebijakan dan Pengaturan Impor.
Kepala Kantor Bea Cukai Soetta Gatot Sugeng Wibowo mengatakan, peraturan terbaru ini berlaku bagi seluruh penumpang perjalanan luar negeri, termasuk pekerja migran Indonesia. Apabila terdapat penumpang membawa muatan melewati batas jumlah yang telah ditetapkan, pihak Bea Cukai Soetta akan mengenakan biaya impor barang secara profesional.

Peraturan terbaru ini berlaku bagi seluruh penumpang perjalanan luar negeri termasuk Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) yang akan pulang ke kampung halaman. Jika terdapat penumpang yang membawa muatan lebih banyak dari jumlah yang telah ditetapkan, Bea Cukai Bandara Soetta akan mengenakan biaya impor barang secara profesional. (AQILLA/DKD)
