Government Begins 79th Indonesian Independence Day Ceremony Preparation in Nusantara
SEAToday.com, Jakarta-The State Secretariat Ministry has begun preparations for the 79th Independence Day celebration of the Republic of Indonesia, which will be held in Nusantara (IKN) next August. This was conveyed in a statement at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta, Tuesday (1/9).
Secretary of the Ministry of State Secretariat Setya Utama admitted that he had discussed a number of matters of concern for the readiness of the 79th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. He also said that all parties were committed to commemorating the culmination of Indonesia's Independence Month in the new capital.
Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono asked each field in the implementation of Indonesian Independence Day to immediately discuss the preparation of each field in accordance with the conditions of IKN. Heru said that the first Indonesian Independence Day in Nusantara will still adapt to the conditions in IKN and there is a possibility to invite the public in a hybrid way.
