Setidaknya 13 Orang Tewas Akibat Gempa Berkekuatan 7.4 Magnitudo di Jepang

SEAToday.com, Ishikawa-Setidaknya 13 orang tewas akibat gempa berkekuatan 7.4 magnitudo mengguncang prefektur Ishikawa, Jepang, Selasa (1/1). Gempa yang turut dirasakan di wilayah Prefektur Niigata, Toyama, dan Fukui, Nagano, Gifu, Tokyo, Yamagata, Fukushima, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Gunma, Saitama, Shizuoka, Aichi, Mie, Shiga, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Nara, Tottori, Iwate, Miyagi, dan Akita, ini menyebabkan gelombang tsunami di beberapa wilayah. Sejumlah orang luka parah dan bangunan, jalan, kendaraan, dan kapal rusak akibat gempa tersebut.

Perdana Menteri Jepang Fumio Kishida mengatakan sekitar 1.000 anggota pasukan pertahanan Jepang dikerahkan untuk melakukan pencarian dan penyelamatan di wilayah terdampak gempa. Per-Selasa (2/1), Badan Meteorologi Jepang telah mencabut semua peringatan tsunami di sepanjang Laut Jepang.

Sementara itu, Kementerian Luar Negeri Indonesia mencatat terdapat 1.315 WNI yang menetap di Prefektur Ishikawa. Sebanyak 18 WNI yang tinggal di Kota Suzu, Prefektur Ishikawa terpaksa bermalam di atas bukit setelah gempa besar tersebut. Pihak KBRI Tokyo dan KJRI Osaka terus berkoordinasi dengan otoritas setempat untuk mengetahui lebih lanjut dampak gempa dan tsunami.
