133 WNI Dipulangkan ke Indonesia Setelah Menjalani Hukuman di Malaysia

SEAToday.com, Kuala Lumpur - Sebanyak 133 warga negara Indonesia (WNI) dipulangkan ke tanah air pada Selasa (25/2) setelah menyelesaikan hukuman mereka di Malaysia akibat pelanggaran aturan keimigrasian.

Koordinator Fungsi Konsuler Konsulat Jenderal Republik Indonesia (KJRI) Johor Bahru, Jati H Winarto, menjelaskan bahwa pihaknya mendampingi proses pemulangan para WNI tersebut melalui Pelabuhan Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru.

Pemulangan ini merupakan bagian dari upaya perlindungan WNI di luar negeri dan dilakukan melalui kerja sama antara KJRI Johor Bahru, Kedutaan Besar Republik Indonesia (KBRI) Kuala Lumpur, serta Departemen Imigrasi Malaysia (JIM) Putrajaya.

Sebanyak 133 WNI ini dikembalikan ke Indonesia menggunakan feri dengan tujuan Pelabuhan Sri Bintan Pura di Tanjung Pinang, Kepulauan Riau, setelah menyelesaikan masa hukuman mereka di enam pusat tahanan imigrasi Malaysia.

Keenam pusat tahanan tersebut adalah Depot Pekan Nenas (Johor), Depot Kemayan (Pahang), Depot Lenggeng (Negeri Sembilan), Depot Beranang (Selangor), Depot Langkap (Terengganu), dan Depot Ajil (Perak).

Para WNI yang dipulangkan ini sebelumnya menjalani hukuman karena berbagai pelanggaran, seperti tinggal melebihi izin (overstay), penyalahgunaan izin kerja, atau tidak memiliki dokumen resmi untuk tinggal di Malaysia.

Menurut Jati, setibanya di Tanjung Pinang, para WNI akan dibantu oleh Kementerian Pelindungan Pekerja Migran Indonesia (P2MI) atau Badan Pelindungan Pekerja Migran Indonesia (BP2MI) serta instansi terkait lainnya untuk proses pemulangan ke daerah asal masing-masing.

Sementara menunggu kepulangan ke kampung halaman, mereka akan ditampung di Balai Pelayanan Pelindungan Pekerja Migran Indonesia (BP3MI) Kepulauan Riau dan Rumah Perlindungan dan Trauma Center (RPTC) Tanjung Pinang.
