SEAToday.com, West Sumatra-The joint SAR team continues to search and evacuate climbers affected by the eruption of Mount Marapi, West Sumatra. West Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Suharyono said out of the 75 registered climbers, 52 injured were rescued, and 23 were declared dead. So far, 20 bodies have been evacuated, while 3 more victims are still at the site of Mount Marapi.
The Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team of the West Sumatra Police has identified 13 bodies of eruption victims. Of the 13 identified victims, two are women, and the rest are men. As for the origin, three people came from Riau and the rest from West Sumatra.
Here are the names of the victims identified:

- Muhammad Teguh Amanda, male, 19 years, Padang Pariaman
- Nazatra Adzin Mufadha, male, 22 years, Riau
- Muhammad Alfikri, male, 19 years, Padang
- Nurfa Afitri, female, 27 years, Padang Pariaman
- Irfandi Putra, male, 21 years, Solok
- Muhammad Wilki Syaputra, male, 20 years, Riau
- Aditya Prasetyo, male, 20 years, Padang
- Afranda Junaidi, male, 26 years, Padang Pariaman
- Yusirli Amri, male, 20 years, Tanah Datar
- Divo Suhandra, male, 26 years, Padang Pariaman
- Filhan Alfiqh, male, 18 years, Padang
- Wahlul Alde Putra, male, 19 years, Padang
The head of the West Sumatra Regional Police Medical and Health Department, Police Grand Commissioner Lisda Cancer, said that almost all the victims of the eruption of Mount Marapi who were found dead or survived had burns on their bodies. The deceased victims of the Mount Marapi eruption were brought to the Achmad Mochtar Regional General Hospital (RSAM) Bukittinggi for further identification.
