Pramono Anung-Rano Karno Wins the 2024 Regional Election in Jakarta

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) has announced that Governor and Deputy Governor candidate number 3, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, won the most votes in the 2024 Jakarta regional election, with 2,183,239 votes.

“By saying Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, I declare the minutes of the certification of the recapitulation of the results of the vote count from each district / city in the 2024 DKJ governor and deputy governor elections to be valid,” said DKI Jakarta Provincial KPU Chair Wahyu Dinata in the plenary meeting on the Determination of the Results of the 2024 Jakarta Governor Election, Sunday, December 8, 2024, as reported by Antara.

Pramono-Rano was declared to have won the most votes, with 2,183,239 votes, while the other candidate number 1, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO) received 1,718,160 votes. In the third position, candidate number 2, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana received 459,230 votes.

The results of the vote count at the provincial level recapitulation plenary meeting noted that in the Thousand Islands, Pramono-Rano won 7,456 votes. While RIDO at 6,578 votes, and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana at 653 votes.

Meanwhile, in West Jakarta, candidate number 3 won with 500,738 votes. Followed by RIDO with 386,880 votes, and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana at 109,457 votes.

In South Jakarta, Pramono-Rano led with 491,017 votes, ahead of RIDO with 375,391 votes, and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana with 90,294 votes.

In addition, Pramono-Rano also won in East Jakarta with 635,170 votes, followed by RIDO with 535,613 votes, and in the last position Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana with 136,935 votes.

In North Jakarta, Pram-Rano led with 328,486 votes, RIDO was second with 261,463 votes, and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana was last with 77,026 votes.

Finally in Central Jakarta, Pramono-Rano led with 220,372 votes. Followed by Ridwan Kamil-Suswono with 152,235 votes, and in the last position Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana at 44,865 votes.

Wahyu said that the results will also be uploaded directly on the official website of the DKI Jakarta KPU. He also expressed his appreciation to all parties who have been very good at working together to succeed the Jakarta elections.
