Pelajar Indonesia Raih 3 Perak dan 1 Perunggu di Olimpiade Informatika Internasional 2024

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Empat pelajar Indonesia menorehkan prestasi perolehan tiga medali perak dan satu medali perunggu di ajang Olimpiade Matematika Internasional atau International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) ke-36 yang digelar di Alexandria, Mesir, pada 1-8 September.

Tiga medali perak berhasil ditorehkan Matthew Allan dari SMA Kanisius Jakarta, Aufan Ahmad Mumtaza dari SMA Al Irsyad Satya Padalarang, dan Kelven Nathanael dari SMAK St. Louis 1 Surabaya. Sementara medali perunggu diraih oleh Gunadi Gani dari SMAS 1 Kristen BPK PENABUR Jakarta.

Kepala Pusat Prestasi Nasional (Puspresnas), Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) Maria Veronica Irene Herdjiono mengapresiasi prestasi yang telah diraih tersebut. Irene mengaku, sebelum berkompetisi, pihaknya telah memberikan fasilitas berupa pembinaan sebanyak tiga tahap.
