Mahasiswa Indonesia Raih 5 Medali di International Mathematics Competition (IMC) ke-31

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Tim mahasiswa Indonesia meraih lima medali dalam kompetisi International Mathematics Competition (IMC) ke-31 yang digelar di Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, pada 5-11 Agustus 2024. Tim Indonesia berhasil merebut dua medali perak, tiga medali perunggu, dan satu honorable mention.

 

Medali perak diraih oleh Muhammad Jilan Wicaksono dari Universitas Indonesia (UI) dan Rama Sulaiman Nurcahyo dari Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). Sementara, medali perunggu sukses ditorehkan Ivan Hadinata dari Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Mohammad Ferry Husnil Arif dari Universitas Indonesia (UI), dan William Surya Putra dari Universitas Brawijaya (UB). Sedangkan penghargaan honorable mention diraih oleh Parmenas dari Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas).

 

Kepala Pusat Prestasi Nasional (Kapuspresnas), Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbud Ristek), Maria Veronica Irene Herdjiono mengatakan, capaian prestasi di ajang IMC 2024 berhasil meningkat dari tahun sebelumnya. Pada tahun 2023, tim Indonesia meraih dua medali perak dan empat honorable mention.
