Perputaran Ekonomi World Water Forum ke-10 Diperkirakan Capai Rp1,5 T
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno mengatakan World Water Forum ke-10 memberikan dampak yang besar terhadap pergerakan ekonomi di Bali, Kamis (23/5). Menteri Uno mengatakan, sebanyak 50 ribu wisatawan datang ke Bali untuk event tersebut.
Menteri Uno memperkirakan, perputaran ekonomi secara keseluruhan mencapai 1,5 Triliun rupiah, mengingat delegasi yang datang kemungkinan tidak sendirian. Namun, Menteri Uno menjelaskan bahwa dampak yang lebih besar akan dipengaruhi oleh bagaimana kepemimpinan Indonesia di dunia internasional dalam mendorong pengelolaan sumber daya air yang berkelanjutan.
Senada dengan hal tersebut, Ketua Persatuan Hotel dan Restoran Indonesia (PHRI) BPD Bali Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati mengatakan, dipilihnya Bali sebagai tempat penyelenggaraan World Water Forum tidak hanya memberi dampak langsung terhadap tingkat hunian hotel di Bali, melainkan juga sebagai ajang promosi Bali sebagai destinasi pariwisata favorit dunia.
