Newly Sworn In: Youngest and Oldest Members of the 2024-2029 Parliament
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The House of Representatives (DPR), the Regional Representative Council (DPD), and the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) will hold a plenary session to inaugurate members for the 2024-2029 period. The session will take place at the Nusantara Parliament Building in Jakarta on Tuesday (10/1).
Among the members to be inaugurated are the youngest and oldest members of the DPR, DPD, and MPR.
Youngest Member of DPR Annisa Maharani Alzahra Mahesa, the daughter of the late politician Desmond J. Mahesa, is the youngest member of the DPR to be inaugurated. At just 23 years, 2 months, and 15 days old, she secured a seat representing Banten II electoral district with 122,470 votes.
Oldest Member of DPR Zulfikar Achmad, at the age of 78 years, 4 months, and 15 days, is the oldest member of the DPR. He won 50,927 votes in the Jambi electoral district.

- Oldest: Ismeth Abdullah from Riau Islands, aged 78 years, 0 months, and 2 days.

- Youngest: Larasati Moriska from North Kalimantan, aged 22 years, 8 months, and 0 days.
- Oldest: Zulfikar Achmad, from Jambi, aged 78 years, 4 months, and 15 days.
