Menteri Budi Arie Setiadi: Pertumbuhan Industri Data Center Dapat Mendukung Transformasi Digital
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika (Kominfo) Budi Arie Setiadi menyatakan bahwa kebutuhan di Indonesia akan pusat data sangat besar. Oleh karena itu, pemerintah mendorong pertumbuhan industri pusat data agar dapat menopang transformasi digital nasional.
Menteri Budi berharap bahwa pembangunan pusat data ini bisa melayani masyarakat, khususnya dalam ekosistem digital. Selain itu, ia juga berharap keberadaan pusat data ini bisa menumbuhkan dan memberi kontribusi bagi transformasi digital di Indonesia. Faktor lain yang dibutuhkan untuk mendukung percepatan pembangunan transformasi digital ini adalah kecepatan internet yang memadai, yang hingga saat ini masih terus dimaksimalkan potensinya oleh Kominfo.
