SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika, Budi Arie Setiadi meminta Generasi Z untuk menggunakan suaranya serta tidak membuang kesempatan pemilihan dalam pemilu 2024. Hal tersebut disampaikan oleh Menteri Budi pada Senin (12/2).
"Anak muda khususnya generasi Z atau pemilih pemula yang baru memiliki pengalaman memilih di 2024 ini, ayo ke TPS gunakan hak pilih kalian sebaik-baiknya dan jangan golput", ujarnya.
Komisi Pemilihan Umum mencatat generasi Z dengan rentang kelahiran 1995-2000 sebesar 22,85 persen atau setara 46,8 ribu pemilih.
Dalam kampanye bertajuk "Pemilu Damai", ada tiga tema besar yang yang digaungkan oleh Kementerian Kominfo yaitu generasi muda berpartisipasi di Pemilu 2024, kampanye anti politik uang, serta pemilu damai walaupun berbeda pilihan, tetapi bersaudara selamanya.
