Kementerian Perdagangan: Indonesia akan Deklarasikan Diri Sebagai Pusat Fesyen Muslim Dunia pada 2024
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Kementerian Perdagangan (Kemendag) mengatakan Indonesia akan mendeklarasikan diri sebagai pusat fesyen muslim dunia pada 2024. Hal tersebut disampaikan Direktur Jenderal Pengembangan Ekspor Nasional Kementerian Perdagangan Didi Sumedi saat publikasi kinerja ekspor produk halal Indonesia, Selasa (19/12).
Didi menilai, hal ini sejalan dengan upaya untuk memasarkan produk-produk halal Indonesia ke pasar global. Selain itu hal ini juga sejalan dengan arahan Presiden Joko Widodo dan Wakil Presiden Ma’ruf Amin. Berbagai upaya telah dilakukan, termasuk mengikutsertakan fesyen dalam negeri untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam berbagai pekan fesyen ternama, seperti New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, dan Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week.
Lebih lanjut, Didi berharap Indonesia dapat mendominasi panggung global dengan fokus pada pasar-pasar yang dianggap sebagai kunci, untuk mendukung eksistensi fesyen muslim Indonesia di kancah internasional.
