SEAToday.com, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo launched and symbolically handed over electronic land certificates at the State Palace, Monday (12/4).
President Jokowi said that the electronic certificate is very important for the community to have because it can reduce the risk of loss and damage due to disasters, facilitate data management, and increase data confidentiality and security. The President also asked the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) to socialize this service to all Indonesian people.
The Government will continue to acceleraxte the delivery of land certificates to the public, targeting 120 million certificates out of a total of 126 million certificates by 2024.
