91 WNI Berhasil Dievakuasi dari Suriah, Tiba di Indonesia dengan Selamat

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Kementerian Luar Negeri (Kemlu) kembali berhasil mengevakuasi sebanyak 91 warga negara Indonesia (WNI) dari Suriah pada 20 dan 21 Desember 2024. Evakuasi tersebut terbagi atas tiga penerbangan.
Para WNI mayoritas adalah pekerja migran dan pelajar/mahasiswa yang berasal dari Aceh, Sumatera Utara, Riau, Jambi, DKI Jakarta, Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, Jawa Timur, dan Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB), dikutip dari laman Kemlu.
Sebelumnya, para WNI dievakuasi melalui jalur darat dari Kota Damaskus menuju Kota Beirut dengan pengawalan Diplomat KBRI.
Dengan kepulangan gelombang terakhir ini, total WNI yang telah berhasil dievakuasi usai peralihan pemerintah di Suriah sebanyak 156 WNI yang terbagi dalam empat gelombang.
Saat ini, Kemlu dan KBRI Damaskus terus melacak dan mendata para WNI yang kemungkinan masih berada di Suriah dan belum lapor diri.
Kementerian Luar Negeri terus mengimbau agar WNI utamanya yang masih berada di Suriah untuk terus memerhatikan perkembangan situasi dan keamanan, menghindari terlibat dalam kegiatan politik yang tidak perlu, serta menjalin komunikasi dengan Perwakilan RI di Damaskus.
Bagi masyarakat yang memiliki keluarga yang berada di Suriah, Kementerian Luar Negeri RI juga mengimbau untuk menghubungi Hotline Direktorat Pelindungan WNI melalui nomor kontak: +6281-290-070-027, dan Hotline KBRI Damaskus melalui nomor kontak: +963 954 444 810.
