Dekarbonisasi Capai 1,7 Juta Metrik Ton C02, Kinerja Sustainability Pertamina 2024 Lampaui Target

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - PT Pertamina (Persero) berhasil lampaui target kinerja sustainability tahun 2024 hingga 110 persen.
Sepanjang 2024, Pertamina berhasil melakukan dekarbonisasi sebesar 1,7 juta metrik ton C02 dari target 1,09 juta metric ton Co2.
Vice President Corporate Communication Pertamina Fadjar Djoko Santoso mengatakan keberhasilan Pertamina dalam mengurangi emisi karbon didukung oleh seluruh Subholding yang telah menerapkan operasional bisnis yang lebih ramah lingkungan.
“Pertamina komitmen menjalankan bisnis yang ramah lingkungan dan mendukung target pengurangan emisi dan NZE pada tahun 2060 atau lebih cepat*,” ujar Fadjar.
Fadjar menambahkan, Pertamina memiliki 10 proyek unggulan yang berperan penting dalam penurunan emisi karbon.
Semua proyek unggulan ini berkontribusi menurunkan emisi 745.487 Ton CO2 eq per tahun atau 43,5% dari total penurunan emisi Perusahaan di tahun 2024.
Kesepuluh program tersebut antara lain Upgrade Burner Boiler, Optimalisasi pemanfaatan Gas Suar untuk Bahan Bakar Turbin, Pengurangan Gas Flare, Penghematan Konsumsi Bahan Bakar Gas, Efisiensi penggunaan Fuel Gas, penggunaan Biosolar sebagai bahan bakar Marine fleet, optimasi Load Boiler dan inisiatif dekarbonisasi lainnya.
Menurut Fadjar, keberhasilan Pertamina dalam mengelola bisnis secara berkelanjutan mendapat pengakuan dari tiga Lembaga rating ESG Internasional yakni CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), MSCI, dan Morningstar Sustainalytics.
“Penerapan ESG di seluruh lini bisnis Pertamina telah diakui dalam sub industri integrated oil and gas secara global,” ungkap Fadjar.
Pertamina, lanjut Fadjar, berkomitmen penuh menjalankan bisnis berkelanjutan selaras dengan tujuan dan Asta cita pemerintah mewujudkan swasembada energi nasional.
