SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Kementerian Perhubungan (Kemenhub) menyediakan tiga program mudik gratis untuk Natal 2024 dan Tahun Baru 2025 atau Nataru.
“Kemenhub menyediakan 3 program mudik gratis pada masa Nataru 2024/2025 dengan total kapasitas 38.772 penumpang dan 2.320 sepeda motor,” ujar Menteri Perhubungan Dudy Purwagandhi dalam Rapat Kerja Komisi V DPR RI terkait Kesiapan Infrastruktur dan Transportasi dalam Rangka Libur Natal 2024 dan Tahun Baru 2025, di Senayan Jakarta, Rabu (4/12).
Adapun program mudik gratis dari Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Darat meliputi 11 rute tujuan mudik dari Jakarta ke Solo, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Wonosobo, Semarang, Wonogiri, Cilacap, Purwokerto, Malang, Madiun, serta Kediri dengan 88 unit bus dan 2 unit truk (3.500 penumpang).
Sementara itu, Direktorat Jenderal Perkeretaapian menyediakan lintas Jakarta Gudang - Lempuyangan melalui Stasiun Jakarta Gudang, Stasiun Cirebon Prujakan, Stasiun Purwokerto, Stasiun Kutoarjo, serta Stasiun Lempuyangan (PP), dengan kapasitas 5.300 penumpang dan 2.320 sepeda motor (periode angkutan motor gratis 10 hari).
Kemudian, Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Laut menyediakan 100 ruas trayek pelayaran angkutan laut (PP) dengan kapasitas 29.972 penumpang.
Lebih lanjut, Kementerian Perhubungan telah melakukan survei untuk memprediksi arus mudik dan arus balik Nataru 2024/2025.
Diprediksi akan terjadi sebanyak 110,67 juta pergerakan masyarakat selama periode Nataru kali ini. Dudy menyebut potensi pergerakan dalam provinsi diperkirakan sebanyak 54,81 juta orang dan antarprovinsi 55,86 juta orang.
Sementara, puncak arus mudik diperkirakan akan terjadi pada 24 dan 31 Desember 2024, sedangkan puncak arus balik diprediksi berlangsung pada 1-2 Januari 2025.
