Kemensos Dirikan 18 Sekolah Darurat untuk Anak Korban Erupsi Lewotobi
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Setidaknya terdapat 18 sekolah darurat yang didirikan oleh Kementerian Sosial untuk anak korban erupsi Gunung Lewotobi Laki-Laki, Flores Timur, Nusa Tenggara Timur.
Sekolah darurat ini didirikan untuk menjamin keberlangsungan pendidikan bagi anak-anak korban erupsi gunung tersebut.
"Belasan sekolah darurat itu didirikan dengan memanfaatkan tenda-tenda yang lengkap dengan fasilitas pendidikan," ujar Pelaksana Tugas Direktur Perlindungan Sosial Korban Bencana Alam Kementerian Sosial Masryani Mansyur, dilansir Antara.
Tenaga penyuluh dari Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Kementerian Sosial di Nusa Tenggara Timur bertindak sebagai tenaga pendidik di 18 sekolah darurat yang dikhususkan bagi anak korban erupsi pada tingkat sekolah dasar ini.
Salah satu sekolah darurat Kementerian Sosial ini terletak di Desa Konga, Kecamatan Titehena, Flores Timur.
Lokasi ini merupakan satu dari 14 desa yang terdampak langsung oleh lontaran material vulkanik erupsi Gunung Lewotobi Laki-Laki pada 4 November 2024.
Berdasarkan data dari Kementerian Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah (Kemendikdasmen) setidaknya sampai dengan 13 November 2024, ada sebanyak 5.383 anak usia sekolah yang membutuhkan pendidikan selama masa darurat bencana.
Ribuan anak tersebut merupakan siswa dari 66 satuan pendidikan yang terdampak erupsi gunung Lewotobi Laki-Laki di Flores Timur.
