BMKG Prediksi Sejumlah Wilayah akan Dilanda Hujan Deras, Cek Lokasinya
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Badan Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) mengungkapkan hujan deras berpotensi mengguyur sejumlah wilayah di Indonesia.
Dilansir dari Antara daerah tersebut antara lain Aceh, Sumatera Utara, Riau, Kepulauan Riau, Bengkulu, Jambi, Sumatera Selatan, dan Kepulauan Bangka Belitung.
Beberapa daerah lain yakni Jawa Timur, Kalimantan Barat, Kalimantan Tengah, Kalimantan Utara, Kalimantan Timur, Kalimantan Selatan, Sulawesi Utara, Gorontalo, Sulawesi Tengah, Sulawesi Barat, Sulawesi Tenggara, Maluku Utara, Maluku, dan Papua.
Menurut Deputi Meteorologi BMKG Guswanto sejumlah wilayah memang masih akan dilanda hujan setidaknya sampai September. Meskipun musim sudah memasuki musim kemarau.
Guswanto mengatakan hal itu disebabkan oleh beberapa hal yakni fenomena Madden Julian Oscillation (MJO), gelombang ekuatorial Rossby, Kelvin, hingga pola sirkulasi siklonik serta potensi pembentukan daerah belokan dan perlambatan angin.
Kondisi tersebut menimbulkan dampak cuaca ekstrem kebencanaan hidrometeorologi yang meliputi banjir, banjir bandang, banjir lahar hujan, tanah longsor, dan seterusnya meskipun di saat yang bersamaan Indonesia mulai dilanda musim kemarau pada Juni-September 2024.
