SEAToday.com, Mataram - Destinasi wisata pendakian dan non pendakian di kawasan Rinjani untuk sementara ditutup. Hal tersebut dikonfirmasi oleh Kepala TNGR (Taman Nasional Gunung Rinjani) Nusa Tenggara Barat Dedy Asriady dalam keterangan tertulisnya di Mataram.
"Penutupan dilakukan mulai 1 Januari hingga 31 Maret 2024 mendatang," kata Dedy seperti dilansir Antara.
Beberapa jalur pendakian yang ditutup antara lain jalur pendakian Sembalun,jalur pendakian Torean, jalur pendakian Tete Batu, jalur pendakian Aik Berik, jalur pendakian Timbanum dan jalur pendakian Senaru.
Sementara untuk destinasi non pendakian yang ditutup antara lain Air Terjun Jeruk Manis, Desa Jeruk Manis, Kecamatan Sikur dan Air Terjun Mayung Polak, Desa Timbanuh, Kecamatan Pringgasela, Kabupaten Lombok Timur.
Selanjutnya, Air Terjun Mangku Sakti via Desa Sajang, Kecamatan Sembalun, Kabupaten Lombok Timur dan Desa Sambik Elen, Kecamatan Bayan, Kabupaten Lombok Utara.
Penutupan ini sendiri sesuai dengan Surat Kepala Pusat Vulkanologi dan Mitigasi Bencana Geologi Nomor 805.Lap/GL.03/BGV/2023 tanggal 17 Desember 2023 perihal penyampaian laporan evaluasi aktivitas Gunung Rinjani pada Level II (Waspada).
