Organisasi Papua Merdeka Kelompok Afrianus Bagubau dan Keny Tipagau Lancarkan Serangan ke Distrik Homeyo Papua

SEAToday.com, Papua – Organisasi Papua Merdeka (OPM) kelompok Afrianu Bagubau dan Keny Tipagau melakukan serangan ke Distrik Homeyo, Kabupaten Intan Jaya, Papua. Serangan itu berlangsung pada Selasa (30/4) lalu.
Akibat serangan OPM di Distrik Homeyo menyebabkan satu orang meninggal dunia. Korban tersebut adalah seorang remaja yang merupakan warga pendatang, Alexsander Parapak.
Sehari setelah serangan itu atau Rabu (1/5), OPM membakar bangunan SD Inpres Pagapa yang hanya berjarak 50 meter dari kantor Polsek Homeyo. Beberapa anggota OPM beberapa kali menembakkan kantor polisi.
Kemudian keesokan harinya pada Kamis (2/5), OPM kelompok Keni Tipagau menembakkan bangunan Koramil 1705-05/Homeyo. Penembakkan itu bersamaan dengan aksi pembakaran rumah anggota Koramil. Beruntung api bisa dipadamkan.
Seminggu setelah serangan terakhir, kelompok OPM kelompok Afrianus Bagubau dan Keny Tipagau kembali menargetkan sasaran kantor Koramil Homeyo dengan menembak dua kali ke lokasi pengamanan kantor.
Prajurit TNI jajaran Komando Operasi TNI (KOOPS TNI) HABEMA beserta Satgas NANGGALA KOPASSUS Damai Cartenz langsung bereaksi dan melakukan pengejaran terhadap para pelaku penyerangan.
Dari pengejaran itu diamankan beberapa anggota OPM sehingga mereduksi kekuatan OPM kelompok Afrianus Bagubau dan Keny Tipagau.
Operasi tersebut membuat masyarakat Kampung Pogapa Distrik Hameyo mengungsi. Lebih lanjut, Apkam Gabungan TNI POLRI terus melancarkan langkah proaktif mengamankan wilayah Distrik Homeyo dari gangguan OPM.
