SEAToday.com, Jakarta - President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo highlighted that a comprehensive evaluation will be conducted for the organization of the 2024 PON Aceh-North Sumatra National Sports Week

“Everything related to government activities is always evaluated, and if there is a correction, it will be corrected for future improvement.”

According to the President, evaluation is necessary to ensure that the next event will be better. “I think in a big event there have to be corrections, there have to be improvements. Whether it’s a problem with the venue, a problem with the food, a problem with the accommodation, there must be something that we need to improve,” he said.

Previously, a number of athletes and officials complained about several obstacles that occurred in this year’s PON, such as delays in the construction or renovation of sports venues and the food that was prepared by the committee.
