SEAToday.com, Nusa Dua - Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) secara resmi membuka sesi Joint Leaders' Forum Tingkat Tinggi Kemitraan Multipihak (High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships/HLF-MSP) dan Forum Indonesia-Afrika (Indonesia-Africa Forum/IAF) ke-2 2024 di Bali, Senin, 2 September 2024.
"Yang Mulia, dengan ini saya nyatakan sesi Joint Leaders' Forum Tingkat Tinggi Kemitraan Multipihak dan Forum Indonesia-Afrika ke-2 dibuka," kata Jokowi dalam sambutannya di acara HLF-MSP dan IAF ke-2 di Bali, Senin, dilansir Antara.
Jokowi mengucapkan selamat datang dan berterima kasih atas kehadiran seluruh delegasi HLF-MSP dan IAF ke-2 di Bali.
Ia menekankan seluruh delegasi yang hadir dalam Forum Tingkat Tinggi Kemitraan Multipihak dan Forum ke-2 Indonesia-Afrika hendak menciptakan perubahan positif di tengah dunia yang penuh dengan tantangan, baik tantangan terkait perlambatan ekonomi, tingkat pengangguran dan inflasi yang belum membaik maupun ketegangan gepolitik yang terus berlanjut yang telah menimbulkan banyak korban jiwa dan mengganggu rantai pasok global.
Namun yang sangat disayangkan, kata Jokowi, di saat seperti ini solidaritas internasional justru menurun, semangat multilateralisme semakin dikesampingkan dan fragmentasi semakin melebar.
"Dan pada akhirnya negara-negara berkembang adalah yang paling terdampak. Jutaan rakyat negara berkembang adalah yang paling merasakan kesulitan," tegas Presiden.
Padahal, kata Jokowi, hanya tersisa enam tahun menuju target pembangunan berkelanjutan (SDGs) 2030 dan baru 17 persen target SDGs itu tercapai.
"Oleh sebab itu kita memerlukan arah dan visi baru. Kita memerlukan strategi baru. Kita memerlukan langkah taktis baru untuk mewujudkan pembangunan yang lebih adil dan inklusif bagi negara-negara berkembang," serunya dalam forum tersebut.
