Serangan Israel ke Lebanon Tewaskan 492 Orang
SEAToday.com, Beirut - Serangan Israel ke Lebanon, Senin (23/9) menewaskan 492 orang dan melukai 1.645 orang lainnya, sebut Kementerian Kesehatan Lebanon.
Korban meninggal termasuk 35 anak-anak dan 58 wanita. Serangan-serangan tersebut juga memaksa ribuan warga Lebanon melarikan diri dari selatan menuju Beirut. Serangan ini terjadi setelah negara itu masih terguncang akibat serangan dalam perangkat komunikasi pekan lalu.
Militer Israel memperingatkan penduduk di Lebanon Selatan dan Timur untuk mengungsi sebelum serangan udara mereka terhadap Hizbullah semakin meluas. Dalam pesannya, PM Israel Benjamin Netanyahu mendesak warga sipil Lebanon untuk “menanggapi peringatan ini dengan serius”.
“Setelah operasi kami selesai, Anda dapat kembali dengan aman ke rumah Anda,” katanya.
Sekretaris Jenderal PBB António Guterres menyatakan kekhawatirannya atas eskalasi ini, menyebut bahwa ia tidak ingin Lebanon “menjadi Gaza yang lain”.
