Kunjungan Turis dari Indonesia Meningkat, Korea Selatan Berencana Beri Bebas Visa
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Kedutaan Besar Korea Selatan di Indonesia saat ini dengan mendorong realisasi wacana bebas visa kunjungan bagi kedua negara, sebut Konsulat Visa Lee Sung-yong, Kamis (11/7).
Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) mencatat pada tahun 2023, Korea Selatan menerima 250 ribu wisatawan asal Indonesia. Untuk tahun 2024 angka tersebut diproyeksikan akan meningkat hingga 300 ribu. Berdasarkan data hingga Mei 2024, wisatawan Indonesia yang datang ke Korea Selatan telah mencapai 135 ribu orang.
Tingginya jumlah ini menimbulkan wacana bebas bisa demi kemudahan wisatawan Indonesia. "Untuk meningkatkan pertukaran manusia dengan warga Indonesia, memang bebas visa harus diimplementasikan," kata Sung-yong. Oleh karena itu Sung-yong mengaku bahwa pihaknya tengah memperjuangkan agar wacana ini dapat direalisasikan.
