SD, SMP, SMA Negeri dan Swasta di Jakarta akan Gratis Mulai Juli 2025
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) bersama Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Jakarta sepakat untuk menggratiskan biaya pendidikan SD, SMP, dan SMA di Jakarta, baik negeri maupun swasta, mulai Juli 2025.
"Sudah disepakati ke depan, sekolah gratis untuk di sekolah negeri swasta," sebut Ketua DPRD DKI Jakarta Khoirudin dalam keterangan resminya, Jumat (1/11).
Keputusan tersebut merupakan hasil kesepakatan nilai rancangan Kebijakan Umum Anggaran dan Plafon Prioritas Anggaran Sementara (KUA-PPAS) APBD Tahun 2025 sebesar 91,1 triliun rupiah. Nota kesepahaman (MoU) yang telah ditandatangani oleh Pj Gubernur DKI Jakarta Teguh Setyabudi dengan ketua dan tiga wakil ketua DPRD DKI Jakarta disebut sebagai bentuk komitmen untuk memastikan anggaran akan sejalan dengan visi dan misi pemerintah daerah, serta menjawab kebutuhan masyarakat.
Dalam rancangan tersebut, terdapat sejumlah program prioritas, termasuk dalam sektor pendidikan, kesehatan, dan infrastruktur. Khoirudin juga mengajak masyarakat untuk memberikan masukan terhadap pembangunan Jakarta agar dapat berjalan dengan baik dan memberi manfaat yang nyata bagi masyarakat.
