Kemenag Imbau Siaran Azan Maghrib TV via Running Text saat Misa Akbar
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) mengeluarkan imbauan agar stasiun TV berkenan menyiarkan Azan Maghrib melalui running text saat menayangkan langsung misa akbar, Kamis (5/9) besok.
Hal tersebut sesuai dengan surat yang disampaikan oleh Direktur Jenderal Bimbingan Masyarakat Katolik dan Direktorat Jenderal Bimbingan Masyarakat Islam Kemenag kepada Direktorat Jenderal Penyelenggaraan Pos dan Informatika Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika tertanggal 1 September 2024.
Tidak hanya itu, terdapat juga imbauan agar semua TV nasional menyiarkan secara langsung dan tidak terputus ibadah misa akbar yang dipimpin Paus Fransiskus itu.
"Kementerian Agama menyarankan agar Misa yang dipimpin oleh Paus Fransiskus pada tanggal 5 September 2024 pada pukul 17.00 s.d. 19.00 WIB disiarkan secara langsung dengan tidak terputus pada seluruh televisi nasional," demikian bunyi surat tersebut.
Terkait penayangan Azan Maghrib yang kemungkinan berlangsung di sela-sela ibadah misa akbar, Kemenag mengimbau untuk tetap disiarkan.
Namun, penyiaran dilakukan dengan cara running text atau teks berjalan yang muncul di layar televisi.
Imbauan ini keluar setelah Panitia Kunjungan Bapa Suci Paus Fransiskus meminta agar Kemenag berkenan menjembatani komunikasi dengan organisasi keagamaan terkait penyiaran azan Maghrib di pada saat ibadah misa akbar di GBK.
Kedatangan Paus Fransiskus di Bandara Internasional Soekarno-Hatta, Banten, Selasa (3/9) turut disambut oleh Menteri Agama RI Yaqut Cholil Qoumas.
Ia menyebut kunjungan Pemimpin Tertinggi Gereja Katolik itu harus dimaknai dengan keinginan untuk membangun perdamaian antarumat beragama.
Oleh sebab itu, Menag mengajak masyarakat Indonesia dapat menunjukkan persatuan dan kesatuan serta sikap saling memahami dan saling pengertian.
