Kecelakaan Maut di Gerbang Tol Ciawi, 8 Meninggal 11 Luka-Luka

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Kapolresta Bogor Kota Kombes Eko Prasetyo menyatakan sebanyak delapan orang meninggal dunia dalam kecelakaan maut di Gerbang Tol Ciawi, Kelurahan Katulampa, Kota Bogor, Jawa Barat, Selasa (4/2), sekitar pukul 23.30 WIB.

Adapun korban luka-luka dari peristiwa kecelakaan maut ini sebanyak 11 orang.

"Yang meninggal dunia delapan dan luka-luka 11, terakhir barusan," kata Kombes Eko, Rabu (5/2) dini hari, dilansir Antara.

Informasi menyebutkan dari delapan korban tewas terdiri atas tujuh pria dan satu orang berjenis kelamin wanita.

Sebelumnya, dilaporkan bahwa korban dari peristiwa yang terjadi pada Selasa (4/2) malam, sekitar pukul 23.30 WIB itu mengakibatkan enam orang meninggal dan dua orang mengalami luka-luka.

Usai kejadian, korban meninggal dunia dan luka-luka langsung dilarikan ke Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Ciawi untuk ditangani.

Adapun dari kecelakaan ini mengakibat enam kendaraan mengalami kerusakan, tiga diantaranya rusak terbakar termasuk truk penabrak dan dua mobil penumpang di depannya dan tiga lainnya ringsek.

Truk penabrak mengangkut galon air kemasan. Sementara lima mobil penumpang di depannya terdiri atas jenis mobil Avanza, Xenia, Jazz, Innova Reborn, dan Sigra.

Peristiwa kecelakaan di ruas jalan Tol Bogor Jakarta terjadi tepatnya di Gate Tol Ciawi 2 pada Selasa sekitar pukul 23.30 WIB.

Saat itu truk yang bermuatan galon melaju dari arah Ciawi menuju Jakarta, kemudian mengalami rem blong tepat di gerbang tol.
