Ini Sejumlah Larangan di Kota Tua saat Malam Tahun Baru

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Unit Pengelola Kawasan (UPK) Kota Tua memberikan sejumlah larangan bagi pengunjung khususnya pada saat Tahun Baru.
"Kawasan ini, kawasan cagar budaya, mohon memperhatikan hal-hal yang akan merusak kawasan ini, seperti coret-coret, kemudian merusak infrastruktur, membuang sampah sembarangan," kata Kepala Suku Bagian Tata Usaha (Kasubag TU) UPK Kota Tua Irfal Guci.
Larangan ini disampaikan lantaran pihaknya memprediksi akan ada 41 ribu lebih orang yang akan berkunjung ke Kota Tua pada 31 Desember 2024.
Selain itu, pihaknya juga melarang masyarakat untuk menggunakan kembang api di Taman Fatahillah.
"Walaupun di luar itu kita tidak bisa kontrol, karena kembang api ke atas akan kelihatan, oh sepertinya di Taman Fatahillah, tapi di tengahnya sendiri kita tidak menggunakan kembang api," ucapnya.
Tidak hanya itu, para pedagang kaki lima (PKL) juga dilarang untuk berjualan di area Kota Tua demi kenyamanan pengunjung.
"Kalau di area Taman Fatahillah kita memang harus menjaga ya, karena kalau pedagang juga masuk ke situ, malah publik yang protes, terganggu. Jadi khusus Taman Kota Fatahillah dan lorong-lorongnya kita jaga steril dari kaki lima," ungkapnya.
Akan tetapi, para PKL diizinkan berjualan di area sekitar Kota Tua. Ini karena menurutnya area tersebut memang tempat mereka untuk mencari nafkah atau bergembira bersama-sama.
Kota Tua sendiri akan menggelar konser musik dan pertunjukan laser/cahaya (JLF) pada 30 dan 31 Desember 2024.
Oleh karena itu, adanya acara tersebut dan tidak terjadi hujan, Kota Tua diperkirakan akan dikunjungi oleh sekitar 28 ribu lebih orang pada 30 Desember dan 41 ribu lebih orang pada 31 Desember 2024.
