Prajurit TNI di Pos Bilogai Papua Fokus Beri Manfaat untuk Warga Sekitar

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Satgas Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI) di Papua harus memberikan manfaat kepada masyarakat sekitar. Demikian ditegaskan Letkol Dian Dessiawan Setyadi selaku Komandan Satgas Raider Yonif 509/Balawara Yudha Kostrad.

Salah satunya diperlihatkan ketika para prajurit membantu masyarakat Papua yang melintasi Pos Bilogai yang terletak di Kecamatan Sugapa. Pos itu sendiri dijaga oleh Satgas 509 yakni satuan militer di bawah komando Satuan Komando Operasional TNI (KOOPS TNI) HABEMA.

Satgas tersebut tengah melaksanakan pengamanan keliling di perbatasan Indonesia dan Papua Nugini, khususnya di wilayah Kabupaten Intan Jaya.

“Prajurit TNI itu bagus. Kami sangat terbantu. Kami aman di jalan ini." ujar Mama Ester, salah satu masyarakat di sekitar Pos Bilogai seperti dikutip dari rilis resmi.

Bagian depan Pos Bilogai dilintasi jalan menuju Kota Sugapa. Hal tersebut menjadikan jalan tersebut sebagai jalur lalu lintas masyarakat dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari termasuk Mama Ester.

Sehari-hari ia membawa sayuran dan buah-buahan untuk dijual di pasar. Prajurit TNI yang berjaga di pos juga membeli dagangan tersebut.

Tak hanya itu, para Prajurit juga menunjukkan kepeduliannya terhadap seorang pemuda Desa Bilogai bernama Martin yang mengalami luka di jarinya akibat tergores kawat saat mengangkut barang bawaan menuju Kota Sugapa. Menyikapi kondisi tersebut, Prajurit segera memberikan pengobatan ringan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut.

Kepedulian Prajurit TNI di Kampung Bilogai merupakan wujud optimalisasi pelaksanaan tugas TNI untuk percepatan pembangunan di wilayah Papua, kata Panglima HABEMA Brigjen Lucky Avianto saat menerima laporan program.
