Dikabarkan Hilang, WN Singapura Ditemukan Tewas di Spanyol

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Seorang wanita asal Singapura ditemukan tewas di dekat sebuah restoran di Abanilla, Murcia, Spanyol setelah dilaporkan hilang kontak pada tanggal 9 April pukul 8 malam waktu setempat.
Dilansir dari Channel News Asia, AF (korban) diketahui mendarat di Spanyol seorang diri pada 4 April dan dijadwalkan untuk kembali pada tanggal 12 April. Namun, pada tanggal 9 April sekitar pukul 20.45 waktu setempat ia meninggalkan kamar hotelnya.
Disebutkan bahwa korban seharusnya kembali ke Singapura menggunakan jalur udara pada tanggal 10 April dari Barcelona, namun diketahui korban tidak datang ke bandara hari itu.
Pada hari yang sama, tanggal 10 April, seorang kepala inspektur menemukan jasad korban di jalan bebas hambatan di Abanilla. Lokasi jasad korban ditemukan berjarak sekitar 150 kilometer dari hotel tempat korban tinggal.
Enam hari berselang, seorang pria asal Singapura ditahan atas dugaan terkait kematian korban. Ia ditangkap di Alicante, Spanyol. Namun tidak diungkapkan hubungan antara korban dengan diduga pelaku.
Di sisi lain, Spanyol telah menyampaikan pesan melalui Menteri Luar Negeri mengenai peristiwa ini ke Singapura. Seorang perwakilan dari Kementerian Luar Negeri Spanyol mengatakan bahwa hal ini bukanlah sesuatu yang dapat dikomentari oleh pihaknya.
“Kementerian Luar Negeri dan Konsulat Jenderal Singapura telah bekerjasama untuk menyediakan bantuan dan dukungan konsuler kepada keluarga korban. Kami mengucapkan belasungkawa terdalam kami terhadap keluarga korban,” kata perwakilan Kementerian Luar Negeri Spanyol.
