Minyak Dunia Naik 3% Akibat Balasan Serangan Israel ke Iran
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Setelah serangan balasan Israel terhadap Iran pada Jumat (19/4/2024), harga minyak mentah dunia naik 3% mengacu pada Brent.
Melansir dari Reuters, per pukul 09.00 WIB harga minyak mentah melejit ke USD 89,74 per barrel. Sementara jika mengacu pada West Texas Intermediate minyak mentah naik 3,1% yaitu sebesar USD 84,66 per barrel.
Untuk diketahui, Israel telah menyerang balik Iran pada Jumat (19/4/2024). Laporan media setempat menyebut, ledakan terdengar di kota Isfahan akibat serangan itu.
Serangan balik Israel itu pun memengaruhi harga minyak mentah dunia menjadi lebih fluktuatif. Investor saat ini juga sedang memantau potensi eskalasi konflik regional akibat aktivitas militer Israel dan Iran.
Iran sendiri telah dikenakan sanksi embargo oleh Amerika Serikat, tetapi tidak mencakup industri minyaknya. Sedangkan Venezuela sebagai salah satu anggota Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) kehilangan lisensi ekspor minyak mentahnya ke pasar global.
