Pemkot Semarang Gagas Lomba TPS Unik

SEAToday.com, Semarang - Lomba tempat pemungutan suara (TPS) terunik digagas oleh pemerintah kota Semarang untuk memeriahkan pemilu 2024.

Penanggung jawab gubernur Jawa Tengah Nana Sudjana mengatakan target partisipasi pemilu tahun ini adalah 80 persen atau lebih tinggi dari target pemilu 2019 yang mencapai 70 persen. 

“Kalau pemilihan presiden di Kota Semarang pada 2019 bisa sampai 70 persen lebih, hampir mendekati angka 80 persen,” ucapnya dilansir dari Antara News.

Maka dari itu, ide untuk mengadakan lomba TPS terunik dan terbaik diharapkan akan mendorong jumlah partisipasi masyarakat. Menurutnya, para anggota KPPS diharapkan dapat memeriahkan lomba ini dengan mengusulkan berbagai ide kreatif untuk TPS masing-masing. 

Wali Kota Semarang Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu, turut memberi contoh salah satu TPS di Semarang yang menggunakan tema horor pada pemilu 2019 lalu, dimana para petugas KPPS mengenakan kostum hantu. 

“Waktu Pilpres 2019, di TPS Bergota panitianya pakai kostum hantu-hantu. Monggo di setiap TPS bisa lakukan,” ujarnya kepada Antara News.

Dan pada pemilu tahun 2024, ia membebaskan setiap TPS untuk dibuat semenarik mungkin agar dapat memeriahkan pesta demokrasi lima tahun sekali ini.

Nantinya, penilaian TPS terunik dan terbaik ini akan dilakukan oleh Forum Wartawan Kota Semarang.
