Jenazah Lukas Enembe Dijadwalkan Tiba di Papua Kamis Pagi
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Mantan Gubernur Papua Lukas Enembe meninggal dunia di Rumah Sakit Pusat TNI Angkatan Darat (RSPAD) Gatot Soebroto, Jakarta, Selasa (26/12) pukul 10:45 WIB. Kabar tersebut dikonfirmasi oleh Kepala RSPAD Letjen Albertus Budi Sulistya.
Melansir Antara, jenazah Lukas Enembe diperkirakan tiba di Papua pada Kamis (28/12/2023) pagi WIT.
Lukas sendiri beberapa kali dirawat di RSPAD Gatot Soebroto karena gagal ginjal. Ia diketahui telah divonis delapan tahun penjara oleh Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Pusat.
Lukas dinilai terbukti secara sah dan meyakinkan melakukan tindak pidana korupsi yakni menerima suap dan gratifikasi. Hal itu terjadi saat ia menjabat sebagai Gubernur Papua 2013-2022.
Hakim menilai Lukas Enembe terbukti melanggar Pasal 12 huruf a dan Pasal 12 B Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 31 Tahun 1999 tentang Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Korupsi jo Pasal 55 Ayat (1) Ke-1 KUHP jo Pasal 65 Ayat (1) KUHP.
Selain hukuman itu, Lukas Enembe juga dijatuhi pidana denda RP 1 miliar subsider 5 tahun penjara.
