DPR Minta Pemerintah Siapkan Strategi Cegah Penyebaran COVID-19 Jelang Libur Nataru

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pemerintah diminta menyiapkan strategi dalam mencegah penyebaran virus COVID-19 dan Pneumonia jelang libur Natal 2023 dan Tahun Baru 2024 (Nataru).
“Kondisi saat ini menunjukkan peningkatan kasus COVID-19 dan potensi wabah pneumonia yang dapat meluas akibat lonjakan kerumunan dan mobilitas yang tinggi selama liburan,” ujar Anggota Komisi IX DPR Arzeti Bilbina seperti dilansir Antara.
Baru-baru ini, Kemenkes melaporkan adanya peningkatan kasus COVID-19 di 21 provinsi termasuk DKI Jakarta.
Rata-rata kasus harian COVID-19 per 6 Desember bertambah sebanyak 35 sampai 40 kasus. Bahkan, dua pasien COVID-19 di Jakarta dilaporkan meninggal dunia.
Sementara, untuk kasus Pneumonia, Kemenkes mencatat Jawa Barat menjadi yang paling banyak memiliki pasien positif.
Arzeti pun meminta pemerintah tidak main-main dalam menanggapi peristiwa ini.
“Munculnya kasus Pneumonia misterius yang menyerang anak, harus menjadi perhatian serius. Kita tidak boleh main-main karena penyakit ini mengancam anak-anak yang sangat rentan dengan penyebaran virus,” katanya.
