SEAToday.com, Makassar- Kota Makassar didapuk sebagai salah satu kota terbahagia di dunia berdasarkan Happy City Index. Kota Anging Mammiri tersebut menempati peringkat ke-234 dari 250.
Indikator kota terbahagia tersebut dinilai dari City, Government, Economy, Environment, dan Mobility. Dari kelima indikator tersebut, kota pimpinan Moh. Ramdhan Pomanto meraih 1.230,7 poin.
“Satu-satunya dari Indonesia ialah Makassar. Lebih bagus dari beberapa kota di dunia,” ungkap Pomanto, Rabu.
Selain Makassar, ada kota Chiang Mai (Thailand) dan Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) sebagai kota di Asia Tenggara yang juga masuk dalam daftar.
Di sisi lain, peringkat pertama ditempati kota Aarhus di Denmark dengan total 1.749,2.
