Warga Jakarta Bersiap, Simulasi Bencana Serentak Akan Digelar untuk Persiapan Hadapi Risiko Megathrust
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Jakarta akan menggelar pelatihan simulasi bencana serentak sebagai persiapan menghadapi risiko gempa bumi megathrust segmen Selat Sunda.
Hal tersebut disampaikan oleh Ketua Sub-Kelompok Kedaruratan dan Penanganan Pengungsi BPBD Jakarta, Wardaya, Senin (16/9). Untuk pelaksanaannya, BPBD Jakarta akan bekerja sama dengan pemadam kebakaran, Basarnas, maupun tim ahli K3 perusahaan.
Ia menyebutkan jika pihaknya telah menyiapkan berbagai skenario simulasi, seperti cara menghadapi gempa di rumah sakit, pemukiman padat penduduk, pasar, sekolah, serta perkantoran. Selain gempa bumi, simulasi ini juga berlaku untuk menghadapi bencana kebakaran dan juga banjir.
Bahkan di BPBD Jakarta tepatnya di kantor kawasan Petojo Utara, Gambir, sudah disiapkan fasilitas ruang literasi serta peralatan terkait kebencanaan yang dapat dimanfaatkan masyarakat secara gratis setiap harinya.
