SEAToday.com, Jakarta-Polda Metro Jaya menetapkan Ketua Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) Firli Bahuri sebagai tersangka dalam kasus dugaan pemerasan terhadap mantan Menteri Pertanian Syahrul Yasin Limpo, Rabu (22/11)
Firli ditetapkan sebagai tersangka berdasarkan gelar perkara yang dilakukan penyidik Subdit Tipikor Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya dan Dittipidkor Bareskrim Polri. Dalam proses hukumnya, pihak kepolisian juga telah memeriksa 91 saksi sejak 9 Oktober lalu. Kasus ini dimulai sejak adanya laporan masyarakat ke Polda Metro Jaya pada 12 Agustus, kemudian masuk ke tahap penyidikan berdasarkan gelar perkara sejak 6 Oktober.
Dalam kasus ini, Firli dijerat dengan pasal berlapis terkait dugaan tindak pidana korupsi berupa pemerasan dan gratifikasi, dengan ancaman penjara seumur hidup.
