Menlu Singapura Vivian Balakrishnan Kunjungi Presiden Jokowi di Istana Negara

SEAToday.com, Jakarta-Menteri Luar Negeri (Menlu) Singapura Vivian Balakrishnan bertemu dengan Presiden Joko Widodo di Istana Negara, Jumat (26/4). Menlu Indonesia Retno L. P. Marsudi mengatakan pertemuan tersebut untuk membahas persiapan untuk kunjungan Perdana Menteri (PM) Singapura Lee Hsien Loong ke Indonesia pada 29 April mendatang untuk menghadiri Leader’s Retreat.
“Inti dari pertemuan, baik dengan saya maupun kunjungan kehormatan dengan Bapak Presiden, adalah untuk persiapan kunjungan PM Singapura ke Indonesia pada Senin, 29 April, dalam rangka Leader’s Retreat,” kata Menlu Retno.
Menlu Retno juga mendampingi Menlu Vivian untuk bertemu dengan Presiden Jokowi. Ia mengatakan Indonesia dan Singapura mengadakan Leader’s Retreat setiap tahun secara bergantian. Tahun ini, Indonesia ditunjuk sebagai tuan rumah.
Menlu Vivian juga menyampaikan kunjungan PM Lee ke Indonesia merupakan satu dari kunjungan terakhir sebelum beralih ke pemerintahan PM yang baru.
