Asosiasi Sekolah Perencanaan Indonesia (ASPI) Usulkan Jakarta-IKN Jadi Twin Cities
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Asosiasi Sekolah Perencanaan Indonesia (ASPI) mengusulkan Jakarta dan Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) menjadi Twin Cities, di mana terdapat dua kota utama yang menjalankan fungsi-fungsi administratif pemerintahan selama periode tertentu. Dalam hal ini, pada periode 2025-2029.
Konsep Twin Cities ini memungkinkan salah satu kota sebagai ibu kota secara legal (de jure), sedangkan kota lainnya menjalankan kegiatan administrasi pemerintahan nasional (de facto).
Kepala Otorita IKN terdahulu yang kini menjabat sebagai Utusan Khusus Presiden untuk Kerja Sama Internasional Pembangunan IKN Bambang Susantono mengapresiasi ide dari ASPI tersebut. Lebih lanjut, ia menyebut beberapa negara lain yang pernah menerapkan konsep Twin Cities seperti Malaysia, Korea Selatan, Australia, hingga Belanda.
