Batavia Madrigal Singers dan Jakarta Concert Orchestra Diundang Tampil di Depan Paus Fransiskus di Vatikan
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Batavia Madrigal Singers (BMS) dan Jakarta Concert Orchestra, paduan suara asal Indonesia, tampil di depan Paus Fransiskus di Istana Apostolik, Vatikan. Momen tersebut diunggah di Instagram, Sabtu (2/11).
Diketahui, BMS dan Jakarta Concert Orchestra mendapatkan kehormatan untuk bertemu langsung Paus Fransiskus di sela rangkaian konser tur ke Eropa (Austria dan Italia).
Dalam pertemuan tersebut, BMS merayakan keberagaman suku dan agama dengan membawakan lagu daerah Maluku “Hela Rotan” Arr. Ken Steven dan “The Lord bless you and keep you” karya John Rutter.
