Satpol PP Jaktim Akan Denda Warga Rp50 Juta Jika Ada Jentik Nyamuk di Rumah

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja (Satpol PP) Jakarta Timur (Jaktim) menyiapkan sanksi denda hingga 50 juta rupiah bagi warga yang ditemukan memiliki jentik nyamuk Aedes aegypti di dalam rumah.

Langkah ini diambil sebagai upaya menekan angka kasus demam berdarah dengue (DBD) yang mencapai 2.290 kasus pada bulan Mei lalu.

"Ini sebagai upaya menekan angka kasus demam berdarah dengue di Jakarta Timur," ujar Kepala Satpol PP Jaktim Budhy Novian, Rabu (5/6).

Aturan denda ini berlandaskan Peraturan Daerah Pemerintah Provinsi Jakarta Pasal 21 dan 22 Ayat 1 Peraturan Daerah Nomor 6 Tahun 2007 tentang Pengendalian Penyakit DBD. Isi dari pasal tersebut menjelaskan bahwa pemutusan mata rantai merupakan kewajiban masyarakat, termasuk utamanya di tempat perkantoran, tempat usaha dan sekolah, tempat ibadah, serta di samping rumah warga.

Sanksi denda tersebut tidak akan langsung dikenakan, melainkan dilakukan secara bertahap, mulai dari teguran tertulis, penempelan stiker terhadap tempat yang ditemukan jentik nyamuk, dan denda uang. Dalam penerapan denda 50 juta rupiah, Satpol PP Jaktim akan melibatkan pemangku kepentingan dan petugas ahli yang menentukan jenis jentik nyamuk penyebab DBD.

Selain itu, Satpol PP Jaktim juga terus mengupayakan memutus mata rantai penyebaran nyamuk DBD dengan memberdayakan kader Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk (PSN) untuk gencar melakukan edukasi.
