SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Per 10 November 2023, Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) menyoroti masih adanya pengaduan konsumen terkait asuransi yang mencapai 1.400 dari 19.400 pengaduan konsumen. Deputi Direktur Edukasi dan Perlindungan Konsumen (EPK) Regional OJK Gatot Yulianto mengatakan, salah satu jenis pengaduan yang mendominasi adalah terkait klaim asuransi yang menyulitkan.
Selain itu, Deputi Gatot Yulianto juga menyoroti tingkat literasi di sektor perasuransian sebesar 31,72% pada 2022, sedangkan tingkat inklusi keuangan di sektor perasuransian sebesar 16,63% pada periode yang sama.
