Netanyahu Tolak Usulan Gencatan Senjata dari Hamas

SEAToday.com, Gaza - Perdana Menteri Israel Benjamin Netanyahu pada Rabu (7/2) menolak persyaratan kesepakatan gencatan senjata yang ditawarkan oleh Hamas.
Dalam sebuah konferensi pers, PM Israel tersebut mengatakan bahwa syarat-syarat tersebut "delusional", dan menambahkan bahwa kemenangan mereka sudah dalam jangkauan dan "kemenangan total" akan menjamin keamanan Israel. Dia malah menegaskan bahwa militer telah diperintahkan untuk memulai operasi di Rafah, di mana lebih dari satu juta warga Palestina telah mencari perlindungan.
Hamas sebelumnya menawarkan gencatan senjata selama 4,5 bulan di Gaza, di mana semua sandera akan dibebaskan dengan imbalan ratusan orang Palestina yang dipenjara oleh Israel, termasuk para militan senior. Israel juga akan menarik pasukannya dari Gaza dan kesepakatan akan dicapai untuk mengakhiri perang.
Meskipun menawarkan salah satu tujuan perang Israel: dibebaskannya para sandera, Netanyahu telah menolak kesepakatan tersebut dan menegaskan janjinya untuk menghancurkan Hamas.
