TNI AL Amankan Yurisdiksi Maritim dari Dugaan Penyelundup Manusia
SEAToday.com, Aceh - TNI Angkatan Laut melakukan pengamanan dan pengawasan terhadap kapal yang diduga mengangkut korban Tindak Pidana Perdagangan Orang (TPPO) Rohingya di perairan timur Pulau Weh, Aceh, Rabu (27/12).
Sebelumnya, saat berpatroli, TNI AL mendapat laporan tentang kemunculan kapal kayu SHWE YA DANAR 3 yang diduga digunakan untuk TPPO.
KRI Bontang-907, yang saat itu menjadi bagian dari operasi pengamanan di sana, segera melakukan pengawasan terhadap kapal tersebut untuk mengamankan Zona Ekonomi Eksklusif Indonesia yang berbatasan dengan ZEE India. Setelah dipastikan dalam kondisi baik, kapal itu terus diawasi sampai keluar dari batas ZEE Indonesia-India.
Pemerintah Indonesia bertekad memburu para pelaku TPPO, terutama yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan yang saat ini sedang terjadi di Aceh. Upaya tersebut merupakan kewajiban Indonesia sesuai Konvensi PBB dalam Menentang Tindak Pidana Transnasional.
