Otoritas Gaza Tuduh Israel Curi Organ Tubuh Jenazah Warga Palestina
SEAToday.com, Gaza - Militer Israel pada Selasa (26/12) dini hari menyerahkan 80 jenazah tanpa nama dan dikembalikan ke Jalur Gaza. Jenazah tersebut diterima oleh Kementerian Kesehatan. Pihak Israel menolak untuk menyebutkan dari mana jenazah tersebut berasal. Menurut Kantor Media Gaza, pemeriksaan menunjukkan bahwa jenazah-jenazah tersebut telah "dimutilasi", organ-organ vitalnya juga telah diambil. Atas dasar inilah, pihak pemerintah Gaza menuduh Israel telah mencuri organ dari jenazah warga Palestina.
Tuduhan ini bukan yang pertama bagi Israel, sebelumnya pernah ditemukan jenazah dengan organ yang hilang dan pasukan Israel yang menggali kuburan warga Palestina.
Pemerintah Gaza telah mendesak dilakukannya penyelidikan internasional terkait insiden tersebut. Pernyataan tersebut juga mengecam diamnya serta tidak adanya tindakan dari organisasi-organisasi internasional yang beroperasi di Gaza.
