Presiden Joko Widodo Perpanjang Masa Jabatan Komisioner dan Dewan Pengawas KPK Selama 1 Tahun
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Presiden Joko Widodo memperpanjang masa jabatan pimpinan Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) dan Dewan Pengawas KPK. Pimpinan dan Dewan Pengawas KPK yang habis masa jabatannya pada 20 Desember 2023, diperpanjang hingga 20 Desember 2024.
Koordinator Staf Khusus Presiden Ari Dwipayana menjelaskan, perpanjangan masa jabatan tersebut mengacu pada Keputusan Presiden (Keppres) Nomor 112/P Tahun 2023 tentang Penyesuaian Masa Jabatan Pimpinan KPK yang diterbitkan pada 24 November 2023. Sementara itu, perpanjangan masa jabatan Dewan Pengawas KPK diatur pada Keppres Nomor 113/P.
Sebelumnya, Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) mengabulkan perpanjangan masa jabatan pimpinan KPK. Melalui putusan 112/PUU-XX/2022, MK menyatakan masa jabatan pimpinan KPK ditambah dari empat tahun menjadi lima tahun.
