Pemprov DKI Terapkan Hari Bebas Kendaraan Bermotor pada Malam Tahun Baru

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Bertepatan dengan malam tahun baru, Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta akan memberlakukan hari bebas kendaraan bermotor pada 31 Desember mulai pukul 19:00 WIB di kawasan Sudirman-Thamrin.

Selain itu, Kepala Dinas Perhubungan DKI Jakarta Syafrin Liputo, Selasa (19/12) menyebutkan, kebijakan ini juga akan diberlakukan jelang hari Natal.

"Jadi, pada Minggu tanggal 24 Desember 2023, ada car free day pada pagi hari dan car free night pada malam hari," kata Syafrin.

Polda Metro Jaya telah menyiapkan sebanyak 4.041 personel gabungan untuk mengamankan perayaan Natal 2023 dan Tahun Baru 2024. Di sisi lain, Dinas Kesehatan DKI Jakarta mengingatkan masyarakat untuk menggunakan masker dan mencuci tangan terutama untuk kelompok rentan saat berlibur akhir tahun.
