Penularan Virus COVID-19 Varian JN.1 Terdeteksi di Jakarta dan Batam
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Kementerian Kesehatan (Kemenkes) mengonfirmasi penemuan 4 kasus COVID-19 varian JN.1 di Indonesia. Dalam keterangan tertulis, Selasa (19/12), Direktur Jenderal Pencegahan dan Pengendalian Penyakit (P2P) Kementerian Kesehatan, dr. Maxi Rein Rondonuwu, mencatat, empat kasus tersebut teridentifikasi di Jakarta Selatan dan Jakarta Timur, Minggu (17/11), Batam, Rabu (13/12), dan Jakarta Utara, Kamis (23/11). Semua pasien telah ditangani oleh dinas kesehatan setempat.
Direktur Pencegahan dan Pengendalian Penyakit Menular Kemenkes dr. Imran Pambudi menuturkan bahwa hingga saat ini, tingkat keparahan dan jumlah orang yang memerlukan perawatan masih rendah. Namun, masyarakat diimbau untuk melengkapi vaksinasi COVID-19 guna mencegah risiko penularan menjelang libur akhir tahun.
